Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and enhance our supply chain processes by sourcing quality suppliers, negotiating competitive prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role involves coordinating with local suppliers in Tunisia, handling procurement logistics, and maintaining accurate supplier records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Research and Relationship Management :
      • Research potential suppliers locally in Tunisia and worldwide.
      • Maintain and update supplier lead lists, including contact information, and share details with the Sourcing Officer.
      • Establish and maintain effective communication with Tunisian suppliers to ensure smooth collaboration
  1. Procurement and Purchasing:
      • Purchase consumables and office supplies as required.
      • Negotiate prices with local suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
         
  2. Logistics and Quality Management :
      • Follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods.
      • Monitor and address quality issues or claims, liaising with supplier to resolve any discrepancies. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in procurement or a related field.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Languages: Fluency in French or Arabic, good English (required)

Work Environment: This is an on-site position, requiring the candidate to operate from our office.
