ABO Wind has been successfully developing and implementing renewable energy projects since 1996. We currently realise installations with a total annual investment of 500 million euros. About 700 employees worldwide work with enthusiasm on site acquisition, planning, engineering, financing and the construction of wind and solar energy plants for a sustainable energy supply, and they provide operational management and maintenance.
To strengthen our local team in Tunisia we are seeking as soon as possible a full-time accountant
Accounting & Admin Assistant
Your tasks
· Management of supplier accounting, including the entry of purchase invoices, overhead and fixed assets, until the preparation of supplier settlements;
· AR management (settlement registration, lettering and customer reminders);
· Accounting for fixed assets, calculation of allocations;
· Bank reconciliations and cash investment monitoring;
· Populate the information for personnel management (input of leave, absences,...);
· Tracking and recording expense reports.
· You work closely with local tax and accounting advisors as well as with corresponding Tunisian authorities
· You follow-up an invoice approval process and document all incoming invoices
· You register the bank transactions as well as cash and cheque payments
· You help with the liquidity planning and ad-hoc analysis
· You are responsible for document sort out (e.g. contracts)
· You improve working and documentation routines for the organization
· You do general administration work: e.g. support with the office organization and its consumable goods, coordinate different services at the office (cleaning, reparations, internet, etc.)
· You implement the different behaviour guides (e.g. reimbursement of travel costs, pool cars, etc.)
· You report to the Administrative and Financial Director in Tunisia
Your profile
· Computer skills (spreadsheet, accounting software, etc.)
· Liking for number
· Rigor, precision, autonomy
· Sense of responsibility and organization
· Interpersonal fluency
· You have an academic degree in Accounting
· You have basic knowledge in financial accounting and project accounting
· You have basic experience with payroll matters and employment tax
· You have at least 1 year of professional experience, ideally with international exposure
· You are able and willing to work in a matrix organisation
· You are business fluent in Arabic, French and English, knowledge in German is an asset
