Responsible for planning, estimation, execution and communication of product delivery, primarily assigned to one or several Value Streams. Within their assigned Value Streams, Agile Delivery Leads work on larger product initiatives and big bets that require
coordination between several engineering teams within and/or across value streams as well as other departments of the business.
Whats the project about / tasks:
•build and drive the product roadmap (together with Product, Tech, UI/UX and Design)
•drive the delivery of major features and consumer value by planning, prioritizing and coordinating the delivery and release of these complex cross-team engineering initiatives.
•Predictability & Capacity is one of the primary focal points, adept at understanding how multiple teams performance will affect the delivery of features and won’t be afraid of using this information to help optimise flow..
•identify and take care of bottlenecks and impediments that block teams progress and you can turn around impediments quickly and know how to navigate the organisation to do so.
•make sure the feature/ delivery/ goal/ sprint goal is on time and is built to an appropriate level of quality.
•negotiate scope and manage trade-offs for delivery and cost/benefit process improvement decisions.
•ensure technical debt is being managed.
•promote and support agile practises and help the team to continuously deliver value and continuously improve.
•data-driven and can easily provide team progress insights for different stakeholder groups of.
•Knowing the right metrics and KPIs to use in different scenarios to reflect issues that need resolving and regularly use these metrics to applaud good collaboration and teamwork.
Requirments:
•Extensive experience as a Delivery Lead/ Scrum Master in large engineering organisations (>10 teams) and experience shipping products
•Knowledge about product management tools, including practical knowledge of Jira
•Knowledge about large scale agile ways of working
•Professional working experience in leading and coaching software engineering teams
•Having the knowledge and some real-world experience (battle scars) about scaled agile frameworks, like SAFe, Nexus, LeSS, DAD, etc.
•University degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
•Proficiency in spoken and written English, as itis our company language in a diverse environment
•strong agile mindset who goes beyond the standard Agile, Scrum, Kanban, XP, Scrumban textbook examples.
•focus on value creation together with Tech Leads, Product Managers, Product Directors, Engineering Directors and UX
