Job Purpose:
- Responsible for the overall management / direction / coordination/ implementation of all Risk Management functions encompassing corporate / retail credit risk, market / liquidity risks, and operational risks in Bank ABC Tunisia.
- Develop in coordination with other members of Senior Management an appropriate and integrated framework of Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk, Credit Risk policies and standards and ensure these are implemented and effective.
- Promote a bank wide culture of Risk Management centered on awareness and understanding of the risks and responsibilities consistent with expectations of the Board and regulatory authorities.
Experience:
At least 7 years’ experience in Banking sector including 5 years in Risk Management.
Education / Certifications:
Banking/Finance or Economics degree or equivalent. Master or certification in accountancy and finance, business or economics.
Knowledge:
- Very good experience in conducting risk assessments, data classification, business impact analysis for bank’s core business knowledge.
- Up to date of local and international regulatory requirements.
- Solid experience and knowledge in the bank’s business flows, products and risks are required.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Fluent written & verbal English and French languages.

Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of Role: - Develop and manage the bank’s Market, Liquidity, credit and operational risk functions covering bank wide related risks. - Implement, maintain and develop in coordination with other members of Senior Management and appropriate and integrated framework of Market, Liquidity, Operational, credit risk policies, procedures and standards to meet business & regulatory requirements. - Ensure that all key aspects of policy and standards as approved by the Board/ Head Office are effectively communicated, reviewed with clear ownership and accountability. - Setting annual Market, Liquidity & Operational Risk Appetite Strategy (RAS) and regularly monitoring & reviewing the bank’s adherence to its approved Risk Appetite in order to ensure implementation of appropriate corrective actions in the case of breaches to Risk Appetite parameters. - Participate in risk/ control committees, staff meetings, one-on-one meetings and other communication forums that allow for Market & Operational Risk oversight, dialogue and awareness. - Develop Bank-wide operation process mapping to identify existing and propose new process flows and to determine key operational Risks and Controls. - Review and investigate major OR incidents to ensure proper corrective actions, identify root causes and drive effective actions. - Ensure that an effective ORM reporting process is in place enabling timely escalation of Material OR incidents and submission of ORM reports. - Ensure compliance with regulatory ratios: LCR, L/D and credit concentrations ratios. - Ensure appropriate analysis of banks inflows & outflows of funds and suggesting proactive measures for effective management of Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk. - Responsible for conducting Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Stress testing analysis. - Ensure appropriate monitoring of adherence against approved Investment & Trading Limits. - Supervise & guide Market & Operational Risk team members in fulfilling their related mandates. - Create a teamwork environment & maintain a respectable image for the Credit & Risk Department.
