Due to an exciting phase of growth we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our busy Engineering team.
Purpose of Role:
The HR Operations Lead is a key role within the wider HR organisation. The purpose of the role is to ensure the HR function delivers core people processes efficiently, compliantly and to a high standard of customer satisfaction. A key element of this role is to provide insights into our people data to aid operational and strategic decision making.
The post holder is responsible for managing the HR Operations team with responsibility for HR systems, payroll and administration.
Key responsibilities:
· Transforming the delivery and reputation of the HR function, through effective management and delivery of a professional HR service that promotes cultural values, supports business objectives and ensures excellence through people focused policies and best practice
· Lead a HR Operations team that provides a full 360 degree of HR operational support to both the senior leadership team and the employees. Providing a "right first time", seamless, customer focused HR service to managers and staff throughout the complete employee life-cycle
· Support the Senior HRM with management of the employment unions, including attending and minuting meetings, negotiating and liaison.
· Oversee the monthly payroll process liaising with Finance on any adjustments i.e. benefits, absence, additional hours, adhoc adjustments.
· Responsible for the management and administration of employee benefits (transportation, insurance restaurant tickets)
· Provide regular reports on areas of HR and compliance
· Monitor the impact of HR initiatives on KPI's such as turnover, promotions, sickness absence and EDI
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Master degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
· Proven track record as a HR generalist in a senior role (5+ years).
· People management experience is essential to mentor and develop existing HR team.
· Significant union management experience with strong negotiation skills
· Excellent Knowledge of local employment law
· Experience of report writing utilising excel, word and power point
· Expert knowledge of Tunisian payroll legislation and processing
· Experience of using and developing HRIS systems (ideally sage)
· A very good level in French & English
