Ekuity Capital formerly known as the Tunisian-Kuwaiti Consortium of Development (CTKD), was established in 1976 as a joint venture between Kuwait Investment Authority (’’KIA’’) the sovereign wealth fund of the State of Kuwait, the Tunisian Government and the Tunisian private sector in order to promote the Tunisian hospitality and tourism sector.

Headquartered in Tunis, the company’s initial core business consisted of the management of the Abou Nawas Hotels. Over the last couple of decades, the company expanded its activities and is now considered one of the largest diversified investment institutions in Tunisia. Ekuity Capital has currently significant ownership interests in a portfolio of over 20 companies.

Ekuity Capital is seeking to hire a highly motivated Analyst to join its Risk, Reporting and Compliance department. The incumbent shall provide support on various risk, reporting, compliance and governance activities in terms of tools development and follow-up on reporting including portfolio performance. He/she shall assist the Head of Risk, Reporting and Compliance in implementing and monitoring risk and governance best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with the development of reporting elements and tools
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for workshops, committees and Board meetings
  •  Assist with the development of support materials & presentations as required
  • Ensure data gathering from various departments and sources and perform analysis
  • Conduct research and benchmarking of best practices as required
  • Participate in the preparation and monitoring of operational and strategic dashboards
  • Participate in risk monitoring, treatment strategies follow-up and reports drafting
  • Provide support to follow up with the consolidated portfolio performance
  • Ensure the compliance of operations with the policies and procedures that the Risk, Reporting and Compliance department is responsible for

 

Candidate Profile & Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business administration, finance,  or related field from a leading university
  • 1-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, asset management, consulting or related field
  • Significant finance knowledge, excellent analytical capabilities and modeling skills and capacity for synthesis
  • Good knowledge of the Tunisian economic and business environment
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimum supervision and guidance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Arabic, and French
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Power Point, Word & Excel)
