Position : Student Assistant 

A special needs teacher assistant provides special education services to students who need additional assistance in a classroom.

In this position, you assist another teacher as they work with one or more students who have physical, behavioral, or developmental disabilities.

Your duties include helping each student participate in classroom activities and obtain additional support and services at school.

Other responsibilities include assisting in implementing a special education curriculum, monitoring the progress of each student, and reporting to other teachers.

You may also coordinate with specialists, such as speech-language pathologists.
