Based in Sousse, Diwan Engineering Services NA SUARL together with its sister entity Diwan International Engineering GmbH are growing their nearshore engineering services portfolio and therefore looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic junior engineer to join our young and dynamic team in the position of

Junior Building Services Design & Simulation Engineer

Your challenging and future-oriented role:

• • You will create detailed HVAC and plumbing models using AutoCAD and other relevant software programs.
  • You will implement various services standards and building codes: Building Standards (ANSI, ASHRAE, Eurocodes,..), Green Building Standards and Certification Systems (BREEAM, LEED, ..), …
  • You will use building performance modelling software such as EnergyPlus to analyze the energy performance of buildings and optimize energy efficiency.
  • You will calculate energy savings estimates and validate energy models.
  • You will keep abreast of technology changes and trends.
  • You will prepare technical data sheets for equipment and consult with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • You will generate all required output materials, e.g. drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • You will assist in project coordination and management.

The formula for your success in this role:

• • Interest in and affinity for our field of activities.
  • Solid understanding of principles of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and building controls systems.
  • Experience with CAD software: AutoCAD, Autofluid, Revit MEP…
  • Openness to adapting and discovering new software and technologies: EnergyPlus, OpenStudio…
  • Strong team and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technologies.
  • Excellent prioritization and results-oriented mindset.
  • Very good knowledge of English in spoken and written form, German is an asset.
  • Willingness to work in Sousse with international partners / customers.
