Position overview:
Our future Maintenance supervisor will have as main responsibility to increase overall efficiency and improve the level of our Maintenance standards.
Also, Plan, direct and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance and repair activities to ensure the company’s buildings, facilities and equipment operate reliably and efficiently.
Additional duties will include (but may not be limited to):
- Manages, plans, coordinates, organizes and controls all preventive and corrective maintenance activities at Plant level, with the objective that all machinery and related equipment are available and operative for production at the lowest possible cost.
- Proposes and carries out modifications in the machinery and equipment to improve operativity, reduce maintenance cost and improve safety.
- Outsources activities to external services when advisable.
- Leads the new construction projects that imply major works and coordinates maintenance technicians and suppliers.
- Keeps updated the official document file related to works and installations projects.
- Ensure the conformance of products and processes according IATF, Customer specific requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- Makes sure that all employees perform their duties in compliance with the rules and regulations and encourages them to be involved in the energy, environment, safety and health program.
- Provides employees with written job instructions for performing their work safely (e.g., Job environment, safety and health analysis and data sheet, Standard operating procedures, etc.).
- Performs frequent walk-throughs of areas, responds to environment, safety and health concerns and ensures that hazards are corrected as soon as possible and proposes energy suggestions.
To be a success in this role you must have:
- Industrial Engineer/master's in industrial engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance & facilities management in automotive industry
- Previous experience as maintenance Supervisor/Responsible
- High understanding of the PLC & automation
- Strong knowledge facilities machines and equipment.
- Good understanding of IATF requirements.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- French/English: Advanced Level.
