POSITION WITHIN THE COMPANY

The Delivery Manager reports hierarchically to the Delivery Team Lead within Operations BTG and carries out various activities within the various companies of the Blauwtrust Group.

PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION

As a delivery manager you are responsible for the successful planning, realization and implementation of large and complex projects within a structured agile environment. Although we have adopted components from Safe, we sometimes also carry out large projects using a classic waterfall method.

You are the connecting person between the stakeholders of the changes on product, process or platform ("changes") and direct the expectations towards customers and / or internal clients in these projects. As a Delivery Manager you are a real process monitor and you manage the chain within and outside the product and platform organization. You coordinate planning and expectations with all parties involved in the change. During the realization and implementation phase of the project you are the first point of contact for the customer and you communicate clearly about the progress and details. Together with the Operating Companies/Quion involved external parties, you are the person who ensures that the project is realized.

RESULT AREAS AND ACTIVITIES

1. Planning and budgeting

• Drawing up a plan and planning including dependencies, preconditions and resourcing.

• Draw up and have approved budget, monitor budget, proactively manage deviations and ensure adjustments

• Directing the above elements together with Product Managers and Product owners.

2. Structuring and organizing

• Ensure that the project is organized within the structure and working method of the Product and platform organization with teams that are involved in achieving the result.

• Independent management in the chain of the project to be realized by forming an overview of the dependencies for realization and implementation and management of this total chain of activities.

• Structuring the project in the total PI planning in coordination with the Release Train Engineer, Product Owner and Product Manager.

3. Realize and implement

• Ensuring an excellent overview of risks, issues and dependencies and pro-actively devising and realizing solutions.

• Ensuring that all parties involved (internal and external customers, product teams, teams outside the Product and Platform organization, external suppliers and parties) are involved in terms of role, commitment and result.

• Ensuring that the parties involved work together in such a way that the project objectives can be achieved.

4. Stakeholder management

• Maintain adequate network to achieve optimal cooperation between IT&D, Sales and Operations. In addition, you are a fully-fledged discussion partner for all these parties.

• Keep an overview of the status and progress of the total realization and implementation planning, coordinate deviations with the parties involved and ensure clear communication about this status and progress.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Master degree or engineer in Business, Management or Project Management

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working according to Agile methodology and Prince2 methodology

• Possession of basic knowledge of Mortgages and WFT basics is an advantage

• At least 5 years of experience with IT projects

• Knowledge of products and business processes of the mortgage market

• Strong personality who gets things done without having to steer hard project-based as standard working method.

• Skill in identifying and substantively analyzing developments and/or problems, devising solutions and directing required actions;

• Skill in drafting reports and notes.

• Analytically strong, critical and decisive and can keep an overview through helicopter view.

• Strong by nature focused on collaboration and clear oral and written communication.
