Description de l'annonce:

Crit recruits staff on behalf of its German client, a German public institution, for the establishment of the local team for its office in Tunis.

The Tunis team will work closely together with members of the team in Berlin for the implementation of a technical cooperation project in the area of public food safety.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Participation in coordination meetings with project stakeholders, preparation of minutes and monitoring of agreed aspects.

• Support of the team leader and project staff in the preparation and support for the implementation of expert missions (liaison with stakeholders, support in compliance with health requirements, assurance of compliance with administrative formalities)

• Support in the periodic reporting tasks of the project

• Ad-hoc support for event logistics

• Other tasks to be determined by the Team Leader and the backstopping managers

• In coordination with the respective project staff, elaboration, monitoring of the implementation and realization of quality-assured project management processes

• Support of the process of signing and validating the timesheets of staff and experts

• Follow-up of the validation status of documents upstream (TOR, FAI, CVs) and following project activities (reports, deliverables)

• Digital and physical archiving of project documents

• Identification of daily needs and preparation, in close collaboration with the team leader and other backstopping members in Tunis and Europe, of monthly expenditure forecasts to ensure the smooth running of work within the project

• Coordination with the accounting officer appointed by the project concerning the commitment of project expenses at the local level (office costs, telecom, liaison, suppliers of events or various products, etc.) and the compilation of supporting documents; direct management of a small cash provision for minor expenses (expenses, documentation, and reporting)

Profile requested :

• University degree at BAC+4 level or higher in business administration or a related discipline, with equivalent professional certification with relevant work experience, as evidenced by work references

• More than two years of work experience in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams, proven by work references

Language skills :

• Bilingual in French and Tunisian Arabic

• Business fluent in English or German (comparable to level C1 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

• Very good expression and presentation skills (written, oral)

• Strong sense of language style and form of written documents, very good spelling

Professional experience :

• Excellent understanding of contractual, planning, implementation, reporting and administrative requirements

• Experience in working with public institutions (national/international), project experience in development cooperation and technical cooperation will be considered as a very important asset

• Knowledge of the food sector in Tunisia (public/private) as well as of the field of university education and research is an advantage

• Further education in project management is advantageous

• Willingness to travel on business in Tunisia and - if necessary - abroad is a prerequisite
