1. Controlling Engineering Change Requests (ECRs):
   • Minor Drawing Changes: Our current workload often includes minor drawing changes that do not necessitate a full design overhaul. Having a dedicated Technician to handle these changes would allow us to streamline the process and ensure accurate implementation.
   • Communication and Coordination: The Technician would act as a liaison between various departments, speaking with the Quality team about the impact of ECRs and ensuring that all relevant parties are aware of impending changes.
   • Scheduling and Implementation: They would convene with the Planning department to optimize the timing of changes, minimizing disruptions to production and operations.

1. Drawing Changes Support:
   • The Technician would provide hands-on support to our operations and production teams for minor drawing changes, thereby reducing the workload on our design engineers and expediting the implementation of changes when necessary

1. ECR Process Improvement:

• They would actively contribute to the refinement of our ECR processes, identifying blockages, proposing solutions, and helping to make the process more practical. This proactive approach will lead to more efficient and effective change management.

1. Existing Product Production Validation:

• Ensuring that our existing product lines meet the quality standards, and mechanical claims we give to customers. They would take on the responsibility of validating production processes for existing products, ensuring that they align with our design specifications.

1. Assisting with Physical Testing and Attributes:

• To maintain product quality, we often require physical testing and attribute assessment. The Technician would assist in conducting these tests, recording data, and ensuring that our products consistently meet our quality criteria.
