As a Linux Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to Linux systems. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues for our clients. You will also play a key role in maintaining and optimizing Linux-based systems to ensure their smooth operation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients experiencing issues with Linux systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems on Linux platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and associated software applications.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Linux technologies and best practices.
- Proven experience working as a Linux Support Engineer or in a similar technical support role ( minimum 3 years)
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and associated technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills in English
