as a symfony software developer, you are responsible for developing and delivering high quality softwares.

The BTG softwares’ developer we are looking for has experience in symfony and software modelling. The ideal candidate also has experience within the mortgage industry and symfony’s best practices.

Tasks and Responsabilites:

● As a symfony software engineer you are responsible for

○ Maintaining different BTG companies’ softwares including bug fixing

And adding functionalities.

○ Participating in the upgrade of different softwares.

● Ensure appropriate protection of sensitive data and technology.

● Collaborate with the Infrastructure Management team to ensure the security, continuity and availability of the Azure infrastructure under BTG.

● Responsible for the quality of software development in the context of certification ISO and ISAE.

Competencies:

The most important thing is that the Symfony developer has in-depth coding skills, has extensive knowledge in the field of technology and is able to share his knowledge to the team.

● Broad technological knowledge.

● Analytical and problem-solving skills, can quickly identify and solve bottlenecks.

● Review of the delivered code against the coding standards.

● Initiative and persuasiveness, come up with creative solutions.

● Strong time management (keeping an overview) and availability (openness).

● Regarding the technology stack

○ develop PHP applications (Symfony)

○ version control Git / Jira

○ mySQL and other database technologies

○ Azure infrastructure

○ automatic software deployment

○ system integrations

○ security in (web) applications

○ operating systems / web servers and scripting languages

○ UML

Profile :

● Engineer

● 3+ years proven experience as a Symfony developer

● Software Modelling skills
