Mechanical

1. Read and familiarize project AFC drawings, specifications, procedures, ITP, shop drawings and applicable international codes and standards, such as ASTM, ASME II, API 610, API 616, API 617, API 674, API 675, API 676, ASME PTC 22, ASTM D2880, and API RP 11 PGT;ASME VIII, API 620, and API 650.

2. Develop QC Inspection package for the area/ scope of works and get immediate supervisor approval;

3. Perform/ witness quality inspection, testing and surveillance (receiving & installation) as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as directed by immediate supervisor;

4. Participate in relevant project meetings as and when requested by the supervisor/ superior;

5. Engage with QA/QC Engineer to track the Request for Inspection (RFI) notifications submitted by Contractor and performing inspection in accordance with RFI;

6. Prepare Contractor's QC Inspection Reports.

7.Ensure that material and equipment is properly preserved during construction;

8.Ensure Contractor inspection tools and test equipment are calibrated and in good condition.

Piping

1. Read and familiarize project AFC drawings, specifications, procedures, ITP, shop drawings and applicable international codes and standards, such as ASTM, ASME B31.1 & B31.3 and API 570, API 5L;ASME PCC-1 & 2

2. Develop QC Inspection package for the area/ scope of works and get immediate supervisor approval.

3. Perform/ witness quality inspection, testing and surveillance (materials receiving, fabrication, installation & testing) as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as directed by immediate supervisor.

4. Participate in relevant project meetings as and when requested by the supervisor/ superior.

5. Engage with QA/QC Engineer to track the Request for Inspection (RFI) notifications submitted by Contractor and perform inspection in accordance with RFI.

6. Prepare Contractor's QC Inspection Reports.

7. Raise Quality Alert for potential non-conformity and NCR for non-conformity detected.

8. Ensure Contractor inspection tools and test equipment are calibrated and in good condition.

9. Perform Daily Surveillance & prepare Report.

10. Ensure that material and equipment is properly preserved during construction;

11.Perform the execution of joint integrity assembly and verify critical hold points.

12. Perform Site Verification with Operation Supervisor to identify the correct joint(s) to be blinded/de-blinded, assembled and tightened. Mark correctly these joint(s) in the Joint List/ EIS and subsequently perform tagging upon site verification.

13. Perform technical assessment and raise defect notification for any defect found on the flange surface, bolts, and nuts according to project approved procedure.

14. Execute the Torquing or leakage control tasks in accordance with the flange Technical Procedures. Ensure steps for Re-Torquing Leakage Control Works are fulfilled. If leak persist, take necessary temporary precautions prior to any other on-line sealing or clamping method is performed.
