The Project Manager Assistant will collaborate directly with the Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects. Responsibilities include administrative support, tracking project tasks to ensure deadlines are met, and monitoring progress with a focus on prioritization and timely follow-up. The role also involves drafting project proposals, preparing grant documentation, and managing post-award reporting for compliance. Additionally, the assistant will contribute to business development by identifying new project opportunities and strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Administrative Support: Assist the project manager with day-to-day tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, maintaining project documentation, drafting meeting minutes (PV), managing timesheets and contracts, and supporting project planning.

  • Task Coordination: Track project tasks, ensure deadlines are met, follow up with the team, and ensure timely access to necessary resources.

  • Progress Monitoring: Support the tracking of project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, assist in updating project schedules, and monitor ongoing projects with a focus on prioritization and timely follow-up.

  • Proposal Writing and Grants Management: Draft and develop project proposals, prepare grant documentation, coordinate submissions, and manage post-award reporting to ensure compliance with funding requirements.

  • Business Development: Focus on developing new project opportunities and strategies, and identifying growth opportunities. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Education: University Degree in Business/Management. 

  • Experience: Previous project management experience in technology or education is preferred but not required; training and certifications in project management are valued. Indeed, an interest in innovation and technology is valued. 

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello).

  • Leadership Skills:Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.

  • Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English.

  • Time Management:Strong skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Report Writing: Ability to write clear, concise, and informative reports.

 

 

 

Note: There will be a one-month paid trial period (internship) before signing the contract.
