Overview:

Enova Robotics, a pioneering company in mobile robot development and cutting-edge Industry 4.0 solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Mechatronics R&D team. The ideal candidate will contribute expertise in designing, improving, and innovating our line of mobile robots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design mechanical structures of the robots.
  • Improve existing robot versions and contribute to the development of future products with innovative state-of-the-art solutions.
  • Size and dimension automation components and actuators.
  • Select electronics and hardware components (sensors, controllers, wiring, connectors, etc.).
  • Create detailed 2D drawings and wiring schematics.
  • Collaborate with the production team in testing, troubleshooting, and prototyping activities.
  • Engage in communication with suppliers and manufacturers.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electro-mechanics, or an equivalent field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in similar roles involving robotics projects or a related field.
  • Excellent level of design using SolidWorks with proven experience in complex and large assemblies.
  • Knowledge of motion and actuator sizing, sensors, and hands-on experience in assembly and wiring.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A decent level of both written and spoken French and English is required.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with 3D printing and slicing software.
  • Experience with static simulations and dynamic multibody simulations.
  • Experience with sheet metal and welded structures.
