Overview:
Enova Robotics, a pioneering company in mobile robot development and cutting-edge Industry 4.0 solutions, is seeking a skilled Electrical or Electronics Engineer to join its Mechatronics R&D team. The ideal candidate will contribute expertise in the design, improvement, and innovation of our series of mobile robot platforms, with a focus on electronics systems, controls, and integration with mechanical and software components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electronic Component Sizing and Selection (Sensors, actuators, controllers, and communication boards).
- PCB design for control and power supply applications.
- BOM, wiring diagram, and electrical schematic development.
- PLC programming & PLC circuit design and integration within robot platforms.
- Development and programming of embedded systems for robot system control, including microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, Arduino).
- Programming and implementation of communication protocols between robot components (CAN, Ethernet, Modbus).
- Close collaboration with mechatronics, software, and navigation engineers to develop new robot models and improve existing products.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in similar roles involving industrial automation or robotics.
- Proven experience in electronic component sizing, selection, and integration.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (Altium, Solidworks Electrical).
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Schneider Electric).
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A decent level of both written and spoken French and English is required.
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with signal communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus, Ethernet).
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and IoT integration.
- Basic familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation.
- Knowledge of industry standards (e.g. IEC, CE marking, FCC, ISO).
